It is dangerous especially for a young pup because coccidiosis/parasite is in it. Which causes a dangerous bacterial infection. You will have to keep a eye on that. Diareah, blood, etc. I treat my dog w/albon 5% for 7 days every 3 months, but once they show signs a 21day treatment is needed. A stool test at the vet every month can help its around $10 to make sure your pet is parasite free. Bunnies, deer etc can also carry tape, round & all those other yucky parasites...I would say worm them once a month to keep them at bay. talk to your vet
