I'm so sorry for your little guy. I am so lucky to have a groomer in my neighborhood that does the grooming out in the open so you can watch if you want. I always stay, but keep out of sight of Benji so he doesn't get all excited and fidgety. They are great there and she does such a great job! It comes to $40 something with tax..I always give $50 with the change as a tip. I am really blessed with these girls.
I will never leave my baby again to get groomed. I left my Angel Muffin with two different groomers and I was upset the whole day. It shouldn't take hours to get groomed and they should let you stay. When my son was small the barber was out in the open and I could watch...same thing.
Sorry to ramble, but how about finding a groomer that comes to your house. Try the yellow pages or Craigs List. You might have to pay a little more for a mobile groomer, but hell, it's your baby. That is what I would do if I didn't have this great situation. Good luck. |
