Same thing happened with Max 2 weekends ago, and I know we got puppies from the same breeder. We were cleaning out the garage & hubby wasn't paying attention & the wind caught the door slamming it. Now Max is afraid of every little noise. He runs & starts shaking. Our hot tub kicks on, he runs into the bedroom under the bed. Any loud noise it scares him. What I have been doing is, when he takes off, I run to him comforting him. Sitting on the floor, telling him it's ok. I even pick him up & bring him to where the noise is, holding him & petting him. He is getting better, but he is still skittish. I think it will just take time to get used to loud noises. I did read that your supposed to get them used to as many noises as possible between 12 weeks & 16 weeks. I guess we didn't. We don't normally slam doors. LOL
Hope he ends up getting better, I'm sure he will.
