Oh me too, thats the first thing the cop asked. He was very nice, but it just seems like they could be doing more
My husband said the exact same thing as you....our insurance company will do everything they can to try and find them. My husband was on the phone with the dispatcher and of course after they took off all she told him to do was get the license plate number, not chase them - but I told him I didn't care what she said, I told him to chase them anyway - because I knew the cops sure as hell wouldn't ever catch them!
Of course by the time my husband FINALLY listened to me, another car pulled out in front of us (which put them BEHIND the car that hit us) so we couldn't see where they sped off to
I was SO ticked off! We sooo could have caught them if we would have went after them as soon as they sped away from the scene.
I am just SO ANGRY!!
