I am having the exact same problem with my puppy, Skippy. He is about 10 weeks old. I am feeding him Eukanuba puppy food. I'm brushing him with a wire brush for small, shorthaired dogs. The vet recommended Hylite shampoo, and I thought he looked 'stringy' from not being conditioned. So I bought some conditioner the groomers at petsmart said they used. He still has a greasy looking head and looks stringy and dirty with in 30 minutes of me brushing and bathing. His hair is also really cute and fluffy after brushing and goes flat after we're done. I think I'm seeing spots of flakyness or dryness also. Any suggestions are welcomed.
