I would suggest you stick with the pure yorkie too. I have a yorkie/bichon mix who was supposed to be a non-shedder. Just recently I have noticed that if I am wearing something dark there are a few white dog hairs on me. It's not really that bad at all but my pure yorkie does not shed at all. I don't think you will be able to tell for sure with the mixes until you actually get them home and live with them for awhile.
