I'd try her in an x-pen. Because my room is brand new hardwood floor I just measured and cut linoleum (sp) that was extra from our kitchen floor and fitted it to his x-pen. So if he had any accidents as a pup there was never an issue with the floor. Plus, it doesn't hold bacteria and can be bleached and rinsed with no issues too. If you do this though, make sure that you give an extra 2 inches or so on all sides of the x-pen so she won't be able to chew the edges
