How long have you had him? I would wait a week or two after he comes home before you bathe him. Being taken away from his mom and littermates is so stressful. There's no need to stress him out more by giving him a bath right away. I bathe my yorkies once a month during the winter bc their skin gets so dry and once every 2 weeks during the summer. Some people bathe every week, but I feel like this is too harsh on their skin and it strips their skin of it's natural oils. I would say bathe once every 2 weeks, but that's just my opinion. |
