Oh yeah......I relate! I worked on Don The Dog Hater sooooo hard to get a puppy. Then he and Higgins became soooooo bonded that Don calls him "son."
They are so cute together. The neat thing is that Higgins is VERY careful to give us EQUAL attention. Higgy wants us BOTH to give him lots of attention, too. Just yesterday we were playing frisbee with him and he made sure that when he caught it, he would bring it to me for praise, then take it to "Dad" to toss it again. He is the center of our lives....out little kid.....
