It was an inflammation of the cartilage under the ribs and mimicks the pain of a heart attack. He commended me on the Low Carb lifestyle so that made me feel better about it. You do need to keep a close watch on what your body is telling you. After the first week or so and you are not feeling well, check with your Dr. You will go thru some yukky feeling just coming away from sugar...as with anything, withdrawal can be very hard on your system. But it is a very do-able diet for me and I am sticking with it...even if I don't lose another pound, I feel so much better!
I have had costochondritis. From doing pilates of all things!! LOL I suffered with it for 2 months before I decided it was time to get checked if I had a broken rib or something . If only I had known a few days on anti-inflammatories would take the pain away!!
