It is not for everyone that is for sure. But since I have taken sugar out of my diet, I don't crave it like I used to. I was addicted to sugar big time. And I went to my Dr. a month or so ago with pain in my chest. I was worried it was due to the Low Carb diet somehow. But it was Costochondritis and not related to the diet. It was an inflammation of the cartilage under the ribs and mimicks the pain of a heart attack. He commended me on the Low Carb lifestyle so that made me feel better about it. You do need to keep a close watch on what your body is telling you. After the first week or so and you are not feeling well, check with your Dr. You will go thru some yukky feeling just coming away from sugar...as with anything, withdrawal can be very hard on your system. But it is a very do-able diet for me and I am sticking with it...even if I don't lose another pound, I feel so much better!
