We have been cruel to be kind. Our Louie 7 week old whined everytime we left him in the room (we have a stairgate as we have a staffie, would'nt want Louie to get trod on)
He now realises that we are going to come back and now just wanders of playing with his toys, also that its OK to sleep in his warm fluffy bed rather than daughters arms
as she will be there when he wakes.
