Wow, that's amazing. I am certainly no expert, and I can't argue with your history on distilled water. I'd just encourage people to talk to their vets.
We use a high-quality bottled water that we drink ourselves. We get it in those 5-gallon Alhambra-type jugs and just fill up the pets' water dishes. Thankfully, Yorkies don't drink much.
