Not really sure but I have a maltese that does a thing that sounds like she is snorting and I was told it is a "reverse sneeze." But nothing can be done about it. The Yorkie has only done it once and it sounded the same so just thought I'd tell you what I know. But of course bring it up to the vet when you go!
