My vet will not sell Revolution for dogs (only cats). He said it does not kill dog intestinal worms (not even tape worms) and he thinks that protection is important. I really wanted to go with Revolution since it takes the place of both the Heartguard Plus and the Frontline Plus I am now using but he changed my mind. We are going to be replacing the Heartguard with Sentinel or Interceptor when we run out (vet says they do the additional whip worms).
Vet says there is a new product that he will watch for a few months and if all goes well start recommending. It is a product that does it all! I hope the actual field testing shows it effective.
