I use Frontline Plus and my dogs never have fleas. When I got Ben, I used the Sentinel the vet gave me and did not realize it did not do ticks. He brought in two ticks! So he went on Frontline Plus too -- no more ticks either. One thing about the Plus is that it gets the eggs too.
