Mimi had fleas last year
. I was looking at Petsmart to see what would be best but somthing kept tugging at me so I left the store without anything. I called the vet and we purchased frontline. Not to long after that we ended up in the ER b/c mimi broke her leg (long story) and there was a man who used over the counter med for fleas for his pug. The dog was so sick he was being "poisioned" by the flea meds. the guy had to take him home and wash him in dawn 4 times in two hours. So becareful with the over the counter stuff. I did call my breeder about the fleas. She said to bath her everyday and take a q-tip swab and put dishwashing liquid on the end and when you see a flea, dab it with the swab. Pull it off and cut it in half with your finger nail. We used a flea comb with this treatment. Good luck, I hope this will help.
