We purchased a Yorkie yesterday, and he is going to be given Sentinel. It kills not only fleas and heartworms, but a number of GI worms. One of our non-Yorkies got the shot that they just took off the market. She'll get Sentinel too.

Dean, the tenative name for our 18 wk. 3.5 lb Yorkie, is so happy to be home, dematted, and able to see now. (Although Mommy here made him look like poodle when she groomed him. To the groomer from now on I think.) I accidentally cut off his whiskers even! But there was one cute Yorkie under all that hair.

Good luck ridding the fleas. Makes me cringe to think of all the ookies they can get.
