We had it for a while and I think the quality would be OK for the average user, but to use it you have to have a really stable, fast internet connection and you do need to have some basic computer/telephony knowledge even though they say you don't. So that person/family would not really be an average user. We found that it was unreliable and we used extra minutes on our cell phones, so we switched.
If you get it make sure you take port your phone number so you can take it with you if you switch back. If you get a new number assigned from Vonage they will not let you keep that number. |
