As long as both males are neutered there should be no problem with having two males. But a male and a female work well together also.
So I don't think it will matter one way or another. I'd go more for compatible personalities. If you have a dominant dog, get a submissive one.
something I read the other day might help also. I read that a male will never hurt a female, it's the law of the pack.
I'd also suggest taking your dog along when you go to pick one out and see how well they get along together. |
