Be careful because you can catch it also. Although animal scabies can only live on humans about 10 days, it can be a very uncomfortable, itchy 10 days. I had a stray show up once & he looked starved, & losing his hair. I thought his hairloss was maybe from an allergy or poor diet so I tried to take care of him. Me, my daughter, & 1 of my dogs caught it. It was time comsuming & expensive to treat. I feel for you.
