Glad you are all okay. I have an irrational fear of earthquakes. Sure I know they are to be feared but I gave up a very lucrative promotion because I would have to move to CA (I retired instead of transferring.). So where do I live instead? The Gulf Coast --where we have had to ride out several hurricanes. I know it makes no sense, but I guess that's what phobias are -- irrational. I think hurricanes are easier on my nerves because we get advance warning. My fear is the danger that sneak attacks like these tornados and earthquakes. No real escape.
Is it just the news reporting that is more intensive, or are we having a huge proliferation of catastrophic weather/natural disaster events?
