Years ago I used to put cash in the ATM, now I NEVER do.... The bank said they never got one of my cash deposits...SURE YOU DIDN'T!.....I told them I had the receipt from the machine ...She told me the receipt is practically worthless from there.. that you have to come in & get one from the teller before it's any good. If it's from the teller it is completely valid....... She said you could put in $100 in the ATM & enter you put in $1000 so that doesn't make the receipt valid for the $1000.... Boy if it was that easy I could become a millionaire in a week
