Our home was had recently been built and we hadn't lived here long. It was a newly developed area. Not long after we arrived back to my home, we had a spider migration from the fields behind our house. They were all over everywhere!! So many spiders you couldn't take a step without stepping on them. and then some more eeeks! They had no food source and so were cannibalizing each other. I nearly lost my mind over that little episode. Thank God they didn't get inside the house!!
Needless to say, I lost credibility with him for a while after that.

OMG!!!! that is straight out of a horror movie!
I live in south TX, but once, while visiting my grandparents in north TX I stepped on a tarantula, BAREFOOTED!
It scared the heck out of me. Something about the legs creeps me out cause crabs creep me out in the same way.
