 My Little Muscle Man!
We took Pogo and Higgins to our vet here in Florida today. Pogo needed his regular yearly exam and shots. Except for growing cataracts, 13 year old Pogo is in good health. Higgins had thrown up a couple of times since yesterday and wasn't eating much. Other than that he makes the Engergizer Bunny look like a slacker, racing around and playing as usual.
Doc Macgill was delighted to see Higgins again, since he had taken care of him when he was just a baby last year. He pronounced him the most well muscled Yorkie he has ever seen. Not an ounce of fat on him. Higgins weighed in at 6.5 lbs -- just right! He had about a half a degree of fever, but his tonsils are okay. He gave us some medicine for the throwups and an antibiotic for an inflamed tummy. Said he could hear a lot of gas in there. We'll keep an eye on him. The Macgill's gave him a new frisbee thingy, so Higgins thinks he's in heaven.........
Higgins has gotten to be REALLY GOOD at catching his little soft frisbee. I wish our digital camera could catch him four feet in the air, flipping over, and catching the thing! It's AMAZING! When he makes a good catch, we applaud and cheer and he does a big racing lap at top speed around two campsites and back to us. Tooooo cute.
