azkaty, I so feel for both Ralphie and you! I think if I had read your post though before we went through our recent bout of HGE, I would have freaked, but really appreciate the information. Ozzie just stopped a 10-day regimen of metrinadazole yesterday ...
I hope Ralphie continues to be well and that the medicine causes him no ill effects. We're waiting for Ozzie's BMs to right themselves after 10 days of meds (Metronidazole, generic Pepcid, and REglan) so far it's about every other day. Still soft, but no blood and otherwise normal looking.
You just hold your breath with these conditions, don't you?
