I totally agree and think it is nothing but a huge compliment. If it were just to irritate you it would be like her cutting off her own nose to spite her face. I think she adored your Stewie to have wanted one badly enough to pay the money AND to name him after yours. We humans do it out of love and respect (passing on a "same" name). I have a dog named Sampson now that I named after my first Sampson that I loved so dearly.
