Some rescues are so strict. WE looked for literally months for a single dog. We wanted a female maltese. Everytime we applied (and some of those applications are detailed and long) by the time we'd hear back, the dog would be gone. By the time another dog came available, we would have to update our application as they "just can't keep all the applications they receive." So finally we went elsewhere to look and found both of our kids on Petfinder.com classified section.
