Don't know if this will help but my girl won't do #2 on the pad coz that's where she does #1 at. She will NOT go right in the same area for two different things, (if you get my drift). I have the pee pad down, and newspaper beside it. She uses the pee pad and then about 15 minutes later goes back over to the newspaper and takes care of the rest of the business. If the paper wasn't there, she'd go right beside the pad on the floor, I know coz I tried to get her to use the pad for everything. She was very easy to train, she was consistent at 11 weeks, and boy, was I tickled!
