I agree with the above that you should never leave a rubberband in that long. I take my girls hair down every night and redo it in the morning. I buy the bands they use for braces (they work really well on their hair) and I never pull them out, I cut them out. They are so cheap and come in such a large quantity that's it isn't a huge deal to cut them out every day and saves pulling your babies hair out. Also, I notice if you leave them in for too long it will break the hair.
