They get jealous for a whole minute and then they settle in and love having that companion.
It's hard sometimes keeping up with everyone's needs. I sometimes feel lazy and want to sleep in but I dont' want them to regress because a mess in the house drives me insane. My husband is forever telling me to let them wait on my schedule but they are used to being walked at six because that is the schedule that I put them on...lol.
If you get a bit more consistent then you will be fine. How about just leaving down the pad when you are not home. If you do want a second then it's good to get his schedule down pat I think that it helps a lot in training the second pup.
