She didn't seem to bother, but I felt awful, and since then I just trim them very short... I have not noticed any change in her, like hitting her face, or something, and for sure her hair lies down nicer, so I would say, go, and trim them...

Hair hairs must be pretty stubborn because I comb her all the time with the flee comb and they never come out or even lay down. Stubborn whiskers!
