Try to wrap Gizmo in a large bath towel, and have someone hold him so you'll have two hands to clean his teeth. You can get dog toothpaste at Petsmart and Petco (you should never use human toothpaste on a pet). Most dog toothpastes come flavored with meat or chicken. Pups just love this and I haven't had one yet that didn't want the brush in his mouth with this on it! Make sure to get the back teeth well, as that is where there is the most plaque buildup. During and after your teeth brushing, give Gizmo loads of praise. He will get use to it eventually and hopefully you'll get to the point when you won't have to wrap him, or require any help with him. There are HUGE benefits to teeth cleaning, especially for Yorkies. Not to mention getting sweet kisses from them......Good Luck!
