Where in the world do you live?
When my youngest grandson was about five years old, he was coming to visit with me for a while from New Jersey to California. He expressed a concern about spiders where I live. I told him that we didn't have any more spiders at my house than he has at this house.
Our home was had recently been built and we hadn't lived here long. It was a newly developed area. Not long after we arrived back to my home, we had a spider migration from the fields behind our house. They were all over everywhere!! So many spiders you couldn't take a step without stepping on them.

and then some more eeeks! They had no food source and so were cannibalizing each other. I nearly lost my mind over that little episode. Thank God they didn't get inside the house!!
Needless to say, I lost credibility with him for a while after that.
Needless to say,
