I bet you are beside yourself as it is getting closer to April. We got Mattie at 8 weeks and he did fine. One thing I would add is see if your friend will let you borrow a bed, toy and/or piece of clothing from them that the puppy is use to. This made it alot easier when Mattie came home with us. Our breeder sent home both a bed and one of his favorite toys. He never cried at all when it was bed time. The key thing your need is time with them and patiences.
