When Hoku was younger and would bite I squealed 'ow' in a high-pitched voice and then gave her something to bite on. When she was just being a pill and wouldn't stop I scruffed her (grabbed the back of her neck and gave a little shake) - only had to do that twice and she got the message quick. That's what their mom or siblings would have done and they don't like it at all. Now all I have to say is 'no bite' and she backs off. Hope that helps!
