 Can yorkies become constipated
Gia went to sleep last night passing lots do gas & smelling like a fish market (I know she's not in heat because she just was fixed in the beginning of the month).
Well I noticed this morning she wasn't moving around a lot & there was this lingering odor of old fish (I hate to be so graphic)
Well when I picked her up I got a strong hit of where the small was coming from, so as I was giving her a bath I noticed she had poop stuck in her butt.
I have one of those shower heads were you can change the speed so I but it on massage & let the warm water hit that area & she pooped a little more but as I was drying her I noticed the smell was still there (not as bad as before but it's still around her bottom area)
My first question is can yorkies become constipated?
What can I do besides take her to the vet?
And can they eat prunes or drink prunes juice? |
