the problem is that some dogs when they decide to attack there is literally nothing you can do to stop it. Esp if they are big dogs. The reason I asy this is because I had two dobermans when Nove the older one was nearing the end of her life she would intensionally provoke fights. These fights would be so bad I could not get them apart, I actully had to call my husband home from work (a 30 min drive) to help me on one ocassion. I had tried hitting them on the snout, water, mace etc, and nothing worked excet brute strength. Some dogs once they bite their jaws will lock, and then what? I think this is a good question and I would love to see some ideas come from this. Also what happens if I am protecting my dog and myself, can I kill the dog if needed? I only ask this because I have seen dogs litterally not stop until someone does die. Please dont get me wrong, but my yorkie is like my child, and if a dog attacked any one of them would be feroucous with the dog that tried it.
