My Evie was just spayed a couple of weeks ago - she will be 8mo old next week. We were ready for her to have it done at 7mo, but we discovered through blood work she was anemic. Gave her some supplements, rescheduled, checked blood again and she was fine. She weighs 2.9lbs and the doc said she would be just fine............and she did great.
