Oh gosh...I'm really having to try to recall info now...if I'm not mistaken...I think it is spread MAINLY by mating, but it is present in ALL bodily fluids. (Duh, like BLOOD, thus the test...) Which would include urine and saliva. I know that it can be spread in kennelled dogs, even if they have not mated....

Don't quote me...this is one of those, "I'm gonna have to call the vet to be 100% sure" type situations...and again, it's one of those things where it's never been proven one way or the other and everyone's opinion's differ.
