It is strange you should post this at this time. I just found Archie doing the same thing. upon close inspection I found at the back on one of his pads there is a place that looks like he was bit by something. I have been putting neosporin on it today and if it doesn't get any better I am taking him in to the vet before it gets really bad. I had to really look tho because it was hidden by some hair.
