Miko doesn't mind his hair being up, but I don't keep it in a topknot everyday. His hair falls in a way that doesn't get in his eyes, so I don't really cut it either. Sometimes it's up, sometimes it's down. My maltese girl though, has a rubberband/bow in her hair everyday, otherwise her hair goes in her eyes. She doesn't mind at all. She actually prefers it up because it doesn't get in her eyes or tickle her nose.
