Default vaccine

It is unwise NOT to vaccinate a puppy in the normal 3 series...once you have properly done this, you may want to reframe from over vaccinating in the future...I am not into yearly shots for all Yorkies...3 yr Rabies is important IMO. You have to look at your dogs lifestyle...are they in dog parks or around other strange dogs? Go to shows...obedience classes..play groups.
Of course some diseases are airborne...I would do a parvo yearly if it is a problem..but you can give parvo only..and Lyme's if you are rural..
If you give yearly shots..by the time the dog is 3 or 4 it adds up to alot of vaccine..I never vaccinate after 5 yrs..haven't for 20 yrs...never had a dog with parvo or any problem..BUT you must decide for your dog because there is no going back if you are wrong.
