Bella is 8 months. I have never had a girl dog so I thought they went in heat more like when they were around 1. She was also the runt so I thought I had a little longer. I was wrong though. I am glad they can still do it though because I really don't want her and Benji to hook up and I would feel horrible if I had to keep her in her cage all the time. I was reading some threads on here and it says you should do it between 6 months to a year. Thanks!
