When I took her last friday the gave me a pill for the tapeworm and by that night she had gotten rid of them. The vet told me that more than likely she got them from her breeder rather than from my boyfriends moms house. Yesterday when I took her to the vet for a checkup and a shot the gave me some freebies and one was a heartworm pill like Sential (can't spell) but it was Interceptor (i think) they are made by the same company? The interceptor is for heartworms, flatworms, roundworms,etc and the Sential is for heartworms and fleas. When I got back next month I'm going to ask about getting her put on Senial because I don't ever want to take any chances with the tapeworms again!! Not only was it gross, it scared me half to death I cried for almost 2 hours b/c I didn't know what to do. I didn't know that the dewormer they give puppies does nothing for tapeworms. Nala is still scratching and chewing a little bit, is that normal for yorkies b/c of their skin. Sorry I ask you guys so many questions but I'm like a mother with a newborn baby and freak out every time she does something
