My moms give me the clue that it is time to wean. She will sit to feed, then stand to feed and want to be away from them. That is when hooman's work begins.. Usually by 6 weeks they are finished with each other for nourishmet. I separae them during the day and will ocassionally, wrap mom to reduce milk production. Also, watch water consumption. I like to encourage less milk production as soon as mom quits nursing on a regular basis. Sometimes, I wish I could keep mom cleaning their bums til they are 3 months of age.
