I rescued a Westie about a month ago. She is 6 years old--same age as Edie, and a sweet, sweet girl. I did wonder, however, if I made a mistake, as Edie liked being the center of attention. After a month, I can say that they DO have fun together at times, but there might still be a little jealousy.
I don't regret it, but I am not sure if bringing in a new dog made any difference at all to Edie. I had hoped she would enjoy the company since I can no longer take her to work.
My husband loves the new dog, (so do I, for that matter) and she is very easy. I am glad we have been able to give her a good home. If you asked Edie, she would probably say "Whatever"..... |
