FANTASTIC JOB! Otis and Higgins could be twins! I knit Higgins one in that very same yarn! Looks so good on a Yorkie coat! Veddy tweedy and British for our Yorkshire guys.
Now you've got the knitting bug and you'll be right back at it making him more sweaters and a blankie and a matching one for you..........
Post the site with the directions, pretty please. LOVE easy stuff. Starting off knitting with double pointed needles is VERY difficult for a beginner. I was a handknit designer for Coats & Clarks back in the 70s, but even then I didn't know how to knit socks on double pointed needles. Just learned this year!!!! The directions I posted here were for an experienced knitter. I remember knitting my first Aran Fisherman's sweater, with all those complicated patterns. It is still the most difficult sweater I ever knit. After that, everything else was a breeeeeeeeze!
I know that left hand claw feeling! I used to knit 15 hours a day and I still often knit for 10 or 12 hours at a stretch. My left hand index finger even has a permanent twist to it.......LOL....... You have now joined the family of "Knit Knuts!"
Lion Brand yarns has a wonderful website with lots of easy patterns. They also have a great email newsletter you can sign up for. Find it at
