I was going to call you to see how you made out but Jim said I should wait until you got home so that you could bond with Jake and have some personal time with him before brining him home and getting settled in. Plus, I was so excited that my loud screams of CONGRATS would have awakened (and probably frightened lol) little Jake!!
I know how hard it is for you without Sammi. All I can say is Sammi has my little Katie to keep her company. I like to imagine them running on a large field of grass and then laying down in the sun. Just remember the good times. I try not to think about the times when Katie was sick (although it isn't always easy). I like to remember her healthy and beautiful and full of life.
