I didn't even know Biewers existed until I joined YT! The things we learn here is amazing!

Hanny and Rishona (my avatar) are registered as standard yorkies (no white). They each had a Biewer yorkie parent and a standard yorkie parent. So Hanna and Rishona carry the pie-bald gene. This gene when paired with another pie-bald gene creates the color pattern for the Biewer. When these girls are bred to a Biewer they have a 50/50 chance of having Biewers and yorkies. Hanny's last litter had 3 Biewers and 1 yorkie. These 1/2 Biewer yorkies are called splitters because they have their genes "split" for Biewer pattern and standard yorkie pattern. (1 gene for each pattern). Also their litters should be "split" Biewer and yorkie.
